Dear Students,

Happy last two days of classes and well wishes as you begin finals. Before finals begin, it would be helpful to share some reminders that are especially important for students intending to remain on campus during the break.

All residence halls will close and the college meal plan will end on December 19 at 5 p.m.. The College overall will close for Winter Recess on December 22 and reopen January 2; only essential/emergency services will be available during this time. If there is an emergency, please contact Public Safety at 610-330-4444. Students are expected to depart campus within 24 hours of their last exam or by 5 p.m. on December 19 (whichever comes first) as key fobs will be deactivated at this time. Students remaining on-campus any later than December 19 must be approved by Residence Life if living in college-owned housing. If you missed the deadline to register for Winter Housing, please email reslife@lafayette.edu immediately. Following Winter Recess, students may return to their residence halls/campus room assignment beginning Saturday January 20. Only students with special permission as a member of a pre-approved team/group may prior to January 20; please remember to pack your key and fob before returning. If you will be returning to a new room assignment, please see the Residence Life page for information on where, when, and how to acquire the key to your new assignment
