The following message was sent to members of the Class of 2022 via email.
Greetings, Senior Class!
The warm spring air means Commencement is not far away. Congratulations on your accomplishments and in becoming a member of Lafayette College’s 187th graduating class.
For up-to-date information regarding Commencement, please visit the College’s Commencement website. Below are several highlights of note:
- If you were unable to attend Grad Finale and need to purchase regalia for Commencement Day, please do so here.
- Brunch tickets, which will be needed to access the dining halls on Commencement Day, can be picked up in 307 Markle Hall now through May 19, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each student receives three brunch tickets and three rain site tickets. Additional brunch tickets must be purchased online before May 13. Extra rain site tickets can be requested by emailing commencement@lafayette.edu. Please note that a limited number of rain site tickets are available.
- On Friday, May 20 at 9:30 a.m., we will host an in-person rehearsal to talk (and walk) through all logistics of Commencement. Seniors will enter Kamine Gymnasium through the South entrance of the Rec Center, near the McCracken Gate.
- On Saturday, May 21, all seniors will need to be inside Kamine Gymnasium no later than 1:15 p.m. Seniors will enter Kamine Gymnasium through the South entrance of the Kirby Sports Center, near the McCracken Gate.
As a note, only those seniors who have fully satisfied degree requirements and are approved for graduation may participate in Commencement exercises. If you wish to request participation in Commencement due to extenuating and/or unanticipated circumstances, please complete this form by Thursday, May 19.
