Good evening, students:

As you may know based on the message sent by Public Safety on Saturday afternoon, the City of Easton has declared a snow emergency that began this afternoon (Sunday) and ends on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Local forecasters predict snow accumulation to range from 4 to 8 inches through tonight. It also appears that the snowfall is wet and heavy, which is perfect for snow construction!

Would you and your closest friends and peers like to be recognized as the reigningSnow Sculpture Champions? Would you like to win a complimentary pizza party? If so, dress warm and enter the Snow Sculpture contest. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
  • Build a family-friendly snow sculpture (i.e. a person, a building, an animal, etc…)
  • Take pictures during the building process as well as the final design
  • Post the photos to social media outlets – be sure to include yourself in some of the pictures
  • Send the photos to deanofstudents@lafayette.edu by Monday, March 4th at 5 p.m.
A team of judges will assess the entries and winners will be announced by Tuesday evening!

Good luck!!
